FULL – NO MORE BOOKINGS PLEASE Release, Strengthen, Flow & Let Go – “Pop-Up” Class, Sunday 13th January

If you are familiar with this two-hour format and have come along before during a holiday break, you will remember that we spent a little bit of time workshopping some of the poses, or more specifically, some of “the tweaks” that you might miss in class but make a huge difference to how a pose feels when it is executed – these tweaks will enhance your strength (core and otherwise) and improve range of movement and flexibility. We will also go through some of the warm-ups we do to demonstrate how important they are and how it can make a big difference to how “stretchy” things feel – or not- as the case should be – when we work in such a way that particular muscles are released first. Stretching is not great for your muscles – lengthening is better and means you are much less prone to injury.  We will then flow through the “flowy” part  of the practise like a dynamic meditation, with minimal instruction before enjoying some simple pranayama (breathing exercises) and a guided relaxation. If it’s a hot afternoon, the air will be on and I will be heading to the beach straight after class – feel free to join me!!

All welcome, including beginners and newbies. You are welcome to just turn up, but if you would like to secure a mat, you can book in prior, here!
