Yoga For Teens: 4Wk Session
March 9 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
This class is aimed at older tweens and young teenagers who not only need some relaxation / mindfulness techniques to help reframe their feelings and perspective, manage life events, school and study, but whom will also benefit from strengthening and stretching in a world dominated by chairs, technology and competitive sports. This is our second course this term. Our intro session consisted of girls aged between 12-16. If your child is mature enough to follow instructions and would like to join in, a year or two either side is fine.
Feel free to attend at least the first session with your child (please let me know) – $15.
If your child is coming home on the bus from Newcastle, we will work on other things while we wait for them and aim to begin the physical yoga session at around 4.45pm. Class finishes up at 5.30pm.
For our second session this term, I am excited to announce we have enlisted the help of Kasia Aksamit, a wonderful role model and inspiration for your children. Originally from Poland, Kasia has a masters degree in Psychology (with a focus on children’s psychology). She is a chef, has completed yoga teacher training and has travelled extensively. Kasia is really looking forward to working with this group.
