Krama literally means “steps”. In our energy-flow Yoga classes, every posture and exercise (vinyasa) has been placed to prepare the muscles or physiology for the next posture or exercise.

For example, in our Yoga classes, we work towards releasing tension in problem areas such as the hamstrings, hips and lower back. This ensures that most “traditional” yoga poses feel relatively comfortable by the time we arrive at the them.

Our Yoga classes consist of therapeutic vinyasa - energy flow -sequences that, with regular attendance, enhance and improve focus, strength, flexibility, range of movement and balance as well as breath and postural awareness.

Our sessions are based on traditional Yoga and qi gong, combined with science-based, exercise-physiology. They are designed with modern bodies in mind.

We continually offer adaptations and modifications; in other words, “add-ons” or easier options.

It's a Yoga and energy-based system that will greatly enhance the health of your nervous system – provided you listen carefully to the teacher!

Every “body” is unique and some students may find that they need to modify some exercises and/or stick to a more accessible variation.

*Consistency is the key; please know that if you are too casual, you won’t reap the benefits of your Yoga practise!

It is extremely important that you always take responsibility for your own body. Competitiveness, pride and/or worrying about what others are doing means it can be hard to stay focussed on you! It is also important to note that these are group rather than remedial classes and therefore not suitable for people with serious injuries or health condition.
