Who doesn't want more energy? Our accessible, energy-flow Yoga sequences are carefully designed so that  every posture and dynamic exercise (vinyasa) prepares the muscles / physiology for the next posture or exercise.

This creates immense physical power on a deep and cellular level. As a practitioner, you become physically and emotionally stronger as you lengthen and release tense muscles and stiff joints. Over time, you will notice significant, positive changes to your overall sense of well-being.

Committing to a Yoga course  means you'll enjoy a massive lifestyle shift. Not only will you improve focus, strength, flexibility, range of movement and balance, you will become more aware of  issues related to posture and tension and thus better able to manage related problems.

Keep Calm & Look After Your Nervous System!

It's important to remember that, as the operating system of our whole being, the health of the nervous system is absolutely vital if we are to stay fit, healthy, well and viable for as long as we might be alive.

People who practise Yoga enjoy a more restful sleep which makes everything else feel so much easier!  When we feel relaxed, the nervous system goes into parasympathetic mode. It's nourished, heightened and yet calm. This means our organs and systems function at their optimal level.

I'm Not Flexible, What if I Can't Do It?

Yoga is not about flexibility - although, trust me, you will become more flexible. Our sequences are based on traditional Yoga postures combined with gentle, yet powerful Qi gong moves and science-based, exercise-physiology. They are designed with modern bodies exactly like yours in mind.

We continually offer adaptations and modifications, whether easier or deeper. If you have a reasonable level of fitness and range of movement, you will be fine.

Our Yoga and energy-based system will nourish your entire being – provided you listen carefully to the teacher!*

*Consistency is the key; please know that if you are too casual, you won’t reap the benefits of your Yoga practice!

Important: Every “body” is unique and some students may find that they need to modify some exercises and/or stick to a more accessible variation.

As I am currently working more or less full time hours during the day and have left my studio behind in Port Stephens to reside in Newcastle, I am currently only offering private and corporate classes.

But meanwhile, do watch this space as things may change again!

It is extremely important that you always take responsibility for your own body. Competitiveness, pride and/or worrying about what others are doing means it can be hard to stay focussed on you! It is also important to note that these are group rather than remedial classes and therefore not suitable for people with serious injuries or health condition.
